Harvesting Manoa Lettuce Seeds

I harvested some Manoa lettuce seeds the other day. They finally formed fluffy puff balls full of seeds. There were so many seeds pods that I didn't collect all the seeds in one day.

I was done collecting all the seeds after 3 days. This next picture if of all the lettuce seeds I collected. WOW!! I hope that all these seeds stay viable for a while. :)

  1. You collected quite a bit of seeds from just one lettuce! I saw in your previous posts that you saved just one lettuce for seed saving purposes. You were very smart, because I didn't really know what I was doing and just one day found out that a bunch of my lettuces starting bolting. Now I have way more lettuce seeds than I need.

If you would be interested in doing any seed trading, I would love to try growing some of your manoa lettuce!
